  • We learn from Fuoco, wizard of Andris, that the potions shop in Lerilin has been affected by the death of Toc, chief dispenser. On her most recent visit to the premises, she found the lady assistant, Salinia in tears. "They killed Toc! That Blood beast killed him", she cried. The wizard comforted her as best as she could and promised his death would be avenged.

"This is a great tragedy", commented the wizard, "and also a hard blow for the young mages, who relied on him for the trade of skulls. Our community is bound to suffer the consequences of this atrocity and loss in more ways than one".

Given the current absence of any form of authority or governing bodies, we have undertaken to print several copies of an advertisement for a trader willing to conduct the same business as the departed Toc and distribute them to all the libraries and the small inns of remote settlements. Some have also been affixed below the signs at the main crossroads in the Duldrus, Marali, Mirith, Lerilin and Andris territories.

We remain in hope of some favourable response.

Day 194 of the Bleeding Moon, Year 443

It is with much joy and emotion that we inform our readers, and indeed all citizens of Oberin, that Salinia at the Poisoned Bottle of Lerilin has now undertaken to continue her master's trade.

May Elara be praised for the trader's courage in the face of adversity!
