Post subject: Unable to Log In

| I have installed the client and the patch...went through character creation ( and yes I've read the old posts... and no, I'm not using my forum name and pass) I'm using the character name and pass I made in the Character Creator. Every time I try to log in it says "Invalid name or password" pops open a white window with a little arrow cursor then reverts to the log in window...please help me |

| maybe you made a mistake in spelling of your character name or password? |

| nope..user name and password are correct, at least they are the same as the ones I entered into the character creation app..I wrote them down..so that is not it..could it a be a router setting or my firewall? |

 Try making another character and see if you can log in on that one. The character creator allows you to make 2 characters on your computer. Then you can ask Jinker about the one you can't log in on.... Oh yes, and take the ladder leading to Mirith  |

If you have downloaded the client from the Downloads link you do not need to download the patch from the news section. In this case I would suggest:
(1) Check to make sure caps lock/num lock isn't affecting your efforts to enter your password.
(2) Try to make a second character and see if login is successful. If your username and password were very long, try something shorter (14 characters or less).
(3) Re-install the client.
(4) If things still aren't working, you can email Jinker (jinker@oberin.com) or look for me on AIM (liaraenGM). I'll be available for several hours, starting about an hour after this post.

Fixed..couldnt have numbers in my password..and my name was rejected..lol...but it works now.
Thanks to..i think it was..Gohael..did I just butcher that?..anyway thanks for the help |
