Day 225 of the Sleeping Moon, year 437.
After some time chatting at the bank, the group decided it was time for a hunt. Arklen, May, Kenneth, Daniqa, Verisaille, and Budic set out to the Lizard Fort. Everything went smoothly as we killed wave after wave of Lizards. Then, Kenneth calls for help and there are 3 Lizard Shamans paralyzing and disorienting him! The group burst into action to take out these Shaman. After killing the three Shaman it began to calm back down, with only an occasional Shaman wandering in. "I wish there were more Shaman here," Budic stated but even Kenneth, who was dying to get a hold of those golden scales, even shouted, "No!" to the idea of more Shaman.
Moments later, Shaman began flooding the room and causing chaos everywhere. With the constant disorienting spells being cast upon them, Arklen even had a trouble healing. From the corridors they heard a shout, "The Shaman shall have their revenge!" And even more Shaman kept pouring into the room. Luckily, the fighter Hisashi showed up to help them defeat the Shaman. As the group of Shaman began to thin out, they noticed the Shaman chief standing at the doorway. He stood their, looming over them, and taunting them. Budic casted provoking spells to make the Shaman by his side turn on him. He gave Budic a cold stare and then began to cast his spells. "Bol Flasssssss!" Shouted the Shaman Chief, as he bolted and fireballed Budic repeatedly, but Budic would not back down. Budic's trusty bear, Noob, then moved in to take a bite of the Shaman Chief but before one could blink an eye the Shaman turned away from Budic and sent fireballs flying at the defenseless bear, killing him. It was impossible to even think about saving the bear. Soon after that, the Shaman retreats back into the fort and you hear the lizards yelling out, "Save the chestsssss!"
After hearing that, the groups ears perked up. There must be something valuable in the chests. Being beat up from the previous lizards, the group moved into the forge to bash the dents from their armor and to fill up their packs with fresh potions, preparing to seize the chests. Once they all were ready, the group headed down the south east corridor and began to wipe out the horde of lizards. Lizard after lizard, they slowly advanced on the chest room. It was a brutal and bloody fight, with shaman and normal lizards working hand in hand they put up a strong defense against the group.
Not long later, the group cleared the room of lizards and May was able to unlock the chests. They claimed the items in the chest; A sickle of each, speed, power, and durability. Then, began to work their way out of the fort and back to town. The group did an excellent job but the Shaman Chief still lives to fight another day. It is advised that you look out for him during future hunts at the lizard fort. And you know what they say, be careful what you wish for.
