I just noticed....
Is it just me or are the Brigands attacking Guild Members?
Did anyone else notice this? Or maybe Its just a coincidence.... |

Don't overdo the thinking. 
I was attacked while the group had 2 non-guild people and 1 with guild tag. And being attacked is even wrong term... Brigands were just there. I very much doubt it was because of us.
Or you mean THE GUILD!?! :O |

Full moon of the harvest moon, Legsalot, Shayde and Fin Uraf set out to the forest for some good o' adventure, I would later catch up to them. They set out to the Marali forest from Mirith as as they reach the edge of that forest, I caught up to them with 2 dracos in tow, a ranger and three rogues had no trouble dipatching them.
When we reach near the wall of trees Legsalot spotted human tracks and we suspected that these maybe brigands and they were. As we approached we cut them down one by one finding their shelter that apparently had many of them inside. The brigands only new to chase the ranger, Legsalot, in this situation as they could not keep pursuit with the rogues popping in and out of site using the shadows of the tree, the camouflage of the forest ground, and dodging behind trees. I figured the the other two rogues could take care of the brigands, so I began tearing down the shelter when more of them popped out. In the end, I kept stealthing away for the brigands to chase Legsalot while the two rogues killed the brigands, and then for me, coming back to destroy the shelter. Twelve brigands in all were slain and we came to find out, this was not just a scouting group, they had magic! Robes, weapons, and a cache of money was dispersed among us.
I love the excitement of out of ordinary, this was no different. Some day hope to find that brigand wizard that was seen on crescent island way back. Until then, we as humans strive for peace, and for the Cavalier Knights, we just hope to protect as much as possible. I helped with that job that night, it feels good, I've been spending to much time at the bank lately, I need to get out more. |

It's been a while since I got out with friends and ventured the woods, so what better way to do this by going to one of the most dangerous places, the Tree Maze. Legsalot, Sumac, Shayde and myself found ourselves killing creatures of the evil kind left and right when suddenly four brigands rushed passed us and headed NW. The rangers gave chase and I soon followed, not much of a runner so it took me a bit.
When I caught up I found many brigands about, when I say many, I mean I was afraid for our lives. I immediately cast paralyze field and and started counting the brigands, they began to break the spell before I could count them all. Meanwhile Shayde and the rangers were plucking them off so I cast the same spell again and then hide to meditate. At that moment the spell broke again and Shayde was quickly slain by the mob of brigands. I began to cast para field as much as I could to help out the two rangers pluck them off one by one as I also fireballed one after another. Soon I found the leader wearing black plate armor, so I fireballed him... what is this!!?? I'm singed! The leader had a reflect magic spell on him, how dare him and where is the wizard that cast this spell? He quickly fell to the ground as Sumac and Legsalot pinned him down with arrows.
They had two shelters, a fire and some dead tree I guess they use for what ever purpose, plus what we like the most, their loot, in a giant chest. It seems more and more brigands are coming out for some reason and they are carrying many valuables. Why, I don't know, and the showing of reflect magic on the leader only tells me there is a mage some where close. |

Dino, Leane, and myself encountered 3 brigands among some trolls somewhere east of Foehan. We quickly defeated and decapitated the marauding band, and made our way to Marali without further incident. |

Day 216 of the Growing Moon, Year 433
Lillium, Kookai, Vik, and Sumac were accompanying me to the Volcano to obtain a new Lava Spider after I had an unfortunate accident with a Hill Giant. We were approaching Port Gast through the Mirith forest when we encountered 7 brigands. They had a fire but no shelter set up yet. There were no signs of any others in the area and Port Gast was secure.

Day 250 Growing Moon, Year 433
I heard for the first time today about the tunnel between the Rock Maze and Lizard Island. Surprised at having not heard about it before, I immediately wanted to be shown this exciting sounding place. Avynar, who told me of the tunnel, asked Tyler and Nahali to join us, and we left town for the rock maze. As we approached the entrance to the maze, 4 brigands came towards us from the North West. They were dead before I could even count how many there were. No more tracks were spotted by Nahali, so we continued our journey. |

Day 3 of the Bleeding Moon, Year 433
Afagddu Demagu, Cassandra, Leane, Meredith, Tamzin, and myself encountered a group of brigands waiting in ambush at the end of a hall in the Ice Dungeon. They were quickly defeated, and 15 heads were collected, along with a couple robes and a magical weapon. |

Day 48 of the Bleeding Moon, year 433
Anx, Virt, Skeuer and I were exploring the forest just North of the Mercenary Cave when we encountered a small number of brigands. We did not find a shelter, but as we were traveling back home to Mirith another small group ambushed us a short way northeast of the flaming sword bridge. These small groups running around with no shelters makes one wonder where they are coming from. 10 heads were the total of the two encounters.
We did go and check the mercenary cave for more miscreants, however it was empty, but for a familiar rogue doing research in the library. He was muttering about ice crystals...

Day 87 of the Bleeding Moon, year 433
While hunting the vile gelatinous Gooeys south of the walls of Mirith two Brigands ambushed me. Outnumbered and over matched I ran towards the safety of the city walls. Caught in the tangle of the trees, I exchanged glancing blows with one of the Brigands. Then finally my trusty mace caught the unarmored part of his neck and the Brigand was critically wounded. He fled in pain but not before leaving me nearly unconscious. I escaped the thicket and ran north expecting to be struck down by the second Brigand. But by some strange blessing of the fates the second Brigand did not purse and I made it home alive. That was a close one...the Brigands are becoming bolder and bolder as the year goes on. I fear even our walled cities may not be safe for long.

| Several days after the Full Bleeding Moon Angelica and Crom entered the confines of the Rock Maze in seek of Hill Giants. Angelica took her station as Crom ventured further into the Maze. On his return, with a Hill Giant hot on his heels, he found Angelica facing two Brigands. There only reward was Crom's GM War Hammer. A search was later conducted but no other Brigands could be found. |

Flingee and I were with Valeriana who had just given Rung some perfume, and were making our way to the Andris bridge when we were accosted by a group of brigands. They didn't last long and no shelter was found. 6 heads were collected in all.

Near the end of Bleeding Moon, Year 433
Sumac and I were planning to stop in Gohoran for a picnic during our hunt. When we arrived, we found one of the buildings infested with Brigands. They had made the town into their shelter. When we had dispatched 9 heads, we discovered a chest containing a large amount of gold and a Holy Dagger.

Day 1 of the Red Moon, Year 433
I had been celebrating this fine, lazy afternoon with a disgruntled group of undead in the Marali cem when I spotted a pair of Brigands loitering near the South corner of the fence. They had not yet spotted me, so I stealthily crept closer until I could leap out of hiding between the two and demand to know their business. Once they had recovered from the surprise, however, the Brigands were less than forthcoming with answers. I dealt with them swiftly.
