Octar and lsen - we must soon liaise as a certain red wizard will (we hope) come and stay with us in a couple of weeks or so!
In the meantime, today we had the happiness of meeting Arduis de Gispard, who is currently visiting London with his lovely wife and his little nephew (just turned 7)- we had so much fun that we decided to meet again in a couple of days, before they fly back home - they have agreed to come to dinner!
Fighters Arduis and Gawr can drink each other under the table, let me assure you! As for the little one, even though he does not speak English, we managed to establish good camaraderie and this is the gift he presented me with after a couple of hours in the pub - I feel truly privileged: |

Probably we should arrange sometime next year for a bigger Obie Meeting at Londodn, since it seems that quite a bunch of people meet there.
First let me express again a big thank you to Gawr and Fuoco, who invited us to their loft for dinner. And I donĄt ly, when I say, that Fuoco is a real chef not only IG but also Off-Game. So stay with your role also in RL
And yes Gawr and I tried two times to finish the RTQ of drinking London dry -. we did our best, employed the most advanced techniques but due to the restricted time schedule we were bound to fail. But we wonĄt give up"! That would be against our honour of being a fighter. Additionally we have to introduce some gaming skills like musicianship, since Gawr is also a Minstrel!
Gawr, Fuoco and the little one, Can, had also a very nice jamming season going on and yes the trio won in the waking up the neighbourhood competition, since they employed two percusssion instruments. And with a seven year old at one of them, you couldnĄt fail here.
But when visiting them both and Fuoco asks to cook for dinner make one point sure, since she seemed a bit def to my answer what we want to eat:
No big hastle/efforts. Basically we eat anything and a small dish would have been sufficient.
But no, Mrs. Fuoco didnĄt listen to the old grumpy Kraut and she prepared us a full flung 3 course meal with home made Canelogni, Antipasti (with Brescaola, home made mayonaise, olives, etc. etc, - jummy) and Creme Flamande!
So again big thanks from the three of us. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at your home. And like said visit us any time we have enough room and always a full fridge to accomodate you folks. So at least gawr and I can try to dry my hometown out. |

We could do a big meeting in London in the Gawr&Fuoco Hotel back garden!
Now I'm hungry. |

Sheldon visited me for a few days at the beginning of October. We went to museums and markets, took a boat to Helsinki and back, and finished it off with three days in Copenhagen. Fun! I'm already hoping we can do it again, in better weather, and with more time for me to cook |
