Some new settlers have appeared to the east of Andris - Sand Spiders of gigantic dimensions! Resident wizard Fuoco kindly kept them paralysed whilst I took a sketch of a couple.
The wizard commented, "I am absolutely thrilled at their appearance and I do hope they are here to stay. Needless to say, I guess that mad niece of mine will soon want to punch one!"
Fuoco continued by asserting her intention to explore the area more in depth at the next opportunity.

After the discovery of the new settlers, I explored the area further and, to my amazement, I could not find a single Black Bear.
A few days later, with the help of Heike, Fixx and Karm of the Andris Vanguard, I searched the north west of the continent. We were later joined by fellow Rebels Angelica and Crom, with whom we searched the east again and Crescent Island. I am devastated at having to announce the diappearance of the Black Bears and even Major, Heike's pet, expressed concern for his missing kin - the newcomers seem to have driven them away!
I shall conduct further searches in all corners of Andris, in the hope of finding where the bears have relocated to,
We do hope to see them back in our woods.

Resident Wizard Fuoco was unable to locate the proud Black Bears anywhere on the Andris continent but professed herself determined not to give up. A party led by the Mighty Fixx also searched the east but to no avail. They found an abundance of Sand Spiders happily settled in the area instead. Sad times for our druids.
