could not figure out where to place this... so this is where it ended up....
Just preliminary iterations of character renderings from actual game pixels.
(Render Two) Still a work in progress... just hoping to retain Oberin by only using pixels captured from a screen shot. -basically dodge, burn, and clone - however copy/pasted a leg to even the footing and the shield to make a belt buckle. I will probably continue work on this keeping bars between sessions.
(Render Three) messing with darktones to build contrast.
(Render Four) some details
(Render Five) added Club of Power, fishing poles, hand axe, mining axe, and blacksmith hammer. Element blending next, but fun to add gear to the backpack, etc. |

| I took photos of some papers I found while cleaning out my desk. These are just some rough sketches I made on my notes while playing in Oberin (except for my early map of Lerilin done in P-Shop). I do wonder if other people sketch out stuff. Mind ya... these are just things I scratched out while trying to figure out the game... |

Aha! I see my name and Malorcia written on there, and crate quest written underneath, my first char, and first quest XD
These are really neat, and awesome that you shared it, thanks! ^_^ |

You make those while you're playing?! Gosh, that can be even more dangerous than Iceane facebook-hunting!
But show us more!! I don't mind killing all the rust beasts around you if that means you'll be drawing! |

that's alright cassy, I have a tendency to be on a big hunt whilst maintaining four or five seperate AIM discussions and the actual group hunt chat room! You just kinda learn to divide your attention quickly enough so that it seems to everyone else like you're completely focused on whatever you're doing and have all the time in the world, with the occasional "Just a sec..."
I especially loved the drawing of the pack leaning against the tree and a couple others. Sugoi! I wish I could draw that well; my best efforts are probably maps I draw for the purposes of Dungeons and Dragons! |
