Dracilus finds himself wearied after the recent events. The shaking that has overcome him for hours now has still not stopped, although it has calmed down a bit from before. He can at least write now without ruining the page. He knows he has to write it down. Write what he has seen.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

day 57, fighting moon

Dracilus was sitting at the bank, intently focused on seeing how long he could keep moroe hidden by the use of invisibility. Ogma arrived at the bank with kotori and phinn, but the latter two left soon thereafter. While ogma and dracilus were standing there, dracilus was suddenly gripped by a psychic voice, coming to him...

Drac... Drac...

Something is amiss...

Assemble a group and come to the woods, drac....

You have been chosen, do not fail!

Dracilus told Ogma of the voices, and after some convincing, ogma also knew they had to gather a group. Nalek came as well, and phinn rushed back to the bank.

We await you outside the eastern walls of Mirith, in the forest.

Come prepared with your blade and your good wits!

Skaggz arrived to be told of the visions and grabbed his gear.

This group is strong enough... Come, drac you have been called...

The group left mirith bank and headed outside as dharma and satyricon joined them. Ogma found a set of tracks leading N, and then NE. They encountered brigands and mercenaries as they followed this track. The group came upon a large camp, full of shelters and fires, surrounding many trees, where a lone mercenary stood, giving orders out to the others before they died, helpess to the group, who was now joined by serancha and kotori. "We can not fail, we must not fail..." The group decimated the group of brigands until only the sergeant was left. "I beg for mercy!" He cried.

After the group told him to fight, he considered his position. "Which one of you as the leader?" Dracilus replied, "I was the one who received the visions, although we make decisions as one, we are a group."

The mercenary said back, "Then I wish to speak with you." Serancha turned to dracilus. "It's a trap." But dracilus could not do anything, he was under the power of the visions. A trap it could be, but he had to go, he had to talk. Being one with the forest, it was not hard to get through the burnt trees to the man behind them. "what is it, then?"

The mercenary told him how he would be killed for surrendering, but he wanted his life. The party could have the chest next to him in exchange for his life. "As well, I want you to swear me something." Dracilus said. "You must lay down your arms and discontinue your life as a criminal. Swear me this, and you may go. I cannot speak for my friends, but I ask them not to kill you. Now, go." he cut his way through the trees and left before anyone was the wiser. turning to the chest, dracilus was gripped by another vision.

Open the chest and take the item within. only you can do this.

Dracilus opened the chest. All that was inside it was a torn page. The vision came again:

You must keep this till it is called for. Do not hand it to any other that lacks the book.

"The book?" Dracilus wondered. There was no answer.

He was confused, but returned to the bank with his friends. He carefully put the torn page in a crack in his wooden chest, and returned to the others, where he was summoned by a guard to give a report to Mattias, who would tell the court. He did so, and then returned to the bank.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He did not know why he had received the visions, or what the torn page symbolized. The writing on it was illegible for the time being. He knew he had to see cassandra or fuoco, perhaps they would know more. He was about to sleep when Suscame arrived in a panic. "I've had a vision! Dracilus, I was told to see you!" He started going through the same things as the druid had. Dracilus was about to go with him and the group, when he fell back in to the sleep that he so desperately needed. All suscame needed to know was:

You are the chosen one!

Still a bit dazed, Suscame hobbles to the bank just having enough sense back to right a decent letter.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Dracilus,

I too have been sent visions. Visions in which led me to a most peculiar item, A torn page. The vision led me to it and told me there were only three more out there. It took me through quite a journey, but it turned out very prosperous. I will try and recall the visions I had received and I will draw some picture for you. It started when I was at the Welif docks, about to go onward to kill some lizards with Negithy when....

Stop, Heed me and Stop

Gather friends, gather anyone at bank

You must obey this vision... You are the chosen one!

At the bank Dracilus will explain more. Then I shall lead you to a quest.
(This is when I came to see you)

I require you to travel the west road from Mirith with a solid party.

They must swear to assist you!
(juillet, Bertrand, Rondino, Danery, Dharma, Zackie, Lavena, hanatare along with myself assembled at the Mirith bank)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We marched west, finding and killing mercenaries and brigands along the Westward road. We kept tight along the road until we came to the entrance of the Rock maze. We found more footprints headed North along the same path. We kept strong destroying scoundrels in our path. Then we came to a patch of dead trees. After beheading the final brigand, I was sent more visions.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

When you have finished off every single one of em, you all need to line up on the western edge of the trees

You will hold this item for the one you holds the book, then you will surrender it to them.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

After we lined up along the clump of dead trees, some magical force brought me into the middle of the trees. I carefully picked something out of a chest. A torn page. I could not get the other chest open and all of a sudden Bertrand, being a rogue popped next to me and opened the chest. There was one special token for everyone. The trees started to disappear and my visions ended leaving me dazed and awkward.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thankfully, Suscame happy to have finished, he headed to the local inn. He comes up to the inn keeper, giving him a sufficent amount of money finding the closest room, he heads to bed.

Suscame, I too received a page. But the questions still remain. What is this 'book'? And who will we surrender it to? I believe we will have to wait and allow time to tell.

64th day of the Fighting Moon, Year 437

"Sher.. Sher, can you sense me"? I heard as I headed towards the forge in Mirith.

ìWho are you"? I replied.

ìI am the one who would save Lerilin" it responded. The voice told me it was sending me a vision to gather a force and travel to Lerilin. Having heard of others receiving these visions, I didnt hesitate on assembling a group of great warriors before heading out into battle.

On arrival at the Lerilin portal, dead bodies already scattered the forest, Barabus lead us South-East where we came across the familiar enclosure of dead trees (that other ìchosen onesî have talked about) with a single unidentified Mercenary standing guard of two chests in the centre.

Before I could speak to this Unidentified Mercenary, we were attacked by his army. ìCall off your menî Rygarth shouted at him to no avail. ìLet us talkî Barabus said as another Mercenary approached us. The Mercenary replied ìTalk to this Glaiveî as he swung violently at us. We all focused our attention on this Mercenary with the sharp tongue and he died quick to our forces.

Our group grew as more Warriors received word on the Mercenary camps, and we continued slaying the army and tearing down their shelters. After the Mercs were slain we approach the unidentified Mercenary but could not deliver him a quick death, like the rest of his men due to the wall of trees protecting him.

ìLets burn the woods down around him" Sam said while others tried to find a way through the wall. Amongst all the commotion I was somehow teleported into the centre of the enclosure with the Mercenary. We didn't exchange any words, as he quickly approached in attack and sliced me with his poisoned glaive before escaping like the cowards they are.

I opened the chests, one was filled with tokens and money and the other had the torn page which I was sent to protect, until the one who holds the book comes looking for its pages. Since Suscame has come into precession of the 2nd page I was now one of the chosen with the 3rd torn page of the ruined book. The voice had told me there were two more enclosures to be found, one in Andris and one in Marali with two more chosen people.

If you recieve the vision, I bid you good luck. The battles are long and hard-fought and I hope you succeed in retrieving and protecting the page. The warriors who joined in this battle were Sam, Rygarth, Barabus,Kogma, Mikomi, Kaylos, Larzz, Amorleiel, Amor, Kulesi, Redman and Corrine.

(OOC, I also received a message during this RTQ from the participating GM. A few warnings for future RTQs ìIf you make out of character comments, are disruptive or do noisy crafting you will be muted. If you kill an npc that has information related to the RTQ you will loose xp. If you keep being disruptive, you will be removed from the RTQ siteî. Can everyone please remember these, stay in character and have fun! =)

Day 66 of the Fighting Moon, Year 437

The fighter lumbered into the gates of Mirith with a hefty sack of logs thrown over his shoulder. He had been out lumberjacking all night in the cool air, and he decided to head back in as the dawn cracked. It had been some time since had had been to Mirith, let alone any form of civilization. As he approached the bank, a roguish figure jumped out of the shadows. It was the fighter's old friend, Amorleiel. After exchanging pleasant conversation, the two decided to raid the cemetery for sport. The fighter dropped off his bounty in his bank box and the two set out from the east gate, with the resplendent rays of sunlight reflecting off the water.

Not far from the gate, a sudden flash hit Jedd's eyes and he stumbled to the floor. Jedd glanced up to the sky and a ethereal aura descended upon him.

"You, Jedd, are chosen," a voice said. Or rather, the words weren't spoken, but they emerged in Jedd's mind in a most uncanny manner. "I require you to see after the fourth lost torn page," the aura continued. "You will be required to hold and guard it, and surrender it to the one with The Book."

Jedd, looking bewildered as ever, attempted to speak, but the vision was not over. He was instructed to assemble a strong group of companions and travel with them to the forests of Marali. There they would find a copse of trees, in the midst of which would be a silvery chest containing the torn page. And, to top it off, each companion would be rewarded handsomely.

The aura faded, and Jedd regained his senses and stood up. He explained what he had seen to a confused Amorleiel, who suggested right away that they return to Mirith and gather up a party. Seeing that there was no time to waste, Jedd agreed and the two doubled back to town. As they walked, Jedd's mind wandered. For what reason was he chosen? And what was the significance of these torn pages and the one with The Book? Whatever that was. Jedd had been away from town too long, and he was very unfamiliar with the current events and happenings of the day. Nevertheless, he had been given a task, and though he had no idea how or why, he saw no reason not to comply with the instructions of the aura. If he was to be guardian of this fourth torn page, then so be it.

The two arrived back on the bank steps, looking dismayingly around. There wasn't a soul in sight. Jedd instantly sent forth carrier pigeons throughout the land, requesting assistance for his noble cause. He waited. There was no reply. What was he to do? He had envisioned danger in Marali, and he felt uncomfortable facing it with such a small group. Yet, his need was too great. By some mysterious, unknown methods, various people across the land received a telepathic message requesting their assistance. While this didn't turn up any results, Amorleiel managed to secure the help of Sobiya and Sam. The four met at the portal of Mirith and conversed. It was likely that there was danger on the other side of the portal in Marali. Sobiya and Sam decided to go ahead and stop inside the fort and to join up later with Jedd and Amorleiel.

After waiting very nervously for a few minutes, Jedd and Amorleiel agreed to go on ahead through the portal and search for the copse. The world shimmered for an instant, and then they were at the portal of Marali. A lone sheep wandered idly nearby. Amorleiel knelt to the ground and looked around. He didn't track anything out of the ordinary. He then disappeared and reappeared moments later, notifying Jedd that he had seen tracks on the road ahead. The two approached them, and on closer examination, Amorleiel noticed that they led north, into the woods. He furtively scouted ahead to the north, spotted some mercenaries, and returned to Jedd.

The two decided to dispatch of the mercenaries little by little, as they had no cleric to accompany them. Jedd attracted the attention of a few of the mercenaries and, combined with the dagger of Amorleiel, brought them to the ground in no time. They spotted a couple of shelters and several more mercenaries as well, systematically erradicating them as they moved to the west.

Soon they arrived at a cluster of dead trees. Jedd knew this to be the copse that he had seen in the vision. Seeing no immediate way inside, they continued working their way around the copse, taking out any resistance they faced. About halfway around the copse from where they had started, Jedd and Amorleiel ran into Sobiya and Sam. Jedd witnessed them sending a lone mercenary to his demise as he fell in the midst of other mercenary corpses that Sam and Sobiya had taken care of. As it turned out, they had been fighting the mercenaries on the other side of the copse.

With all of the hostile mercenaries taken care of, the four gathered in front of the copse. In a magical instant Jedd vanished and reappeared inside the copse, standing right near two chests. The first was locked. The second, however, was the silvery one that he knew of from earlier. Jedd went to the second chest and opened it with ease. Inside, he found the torn page that he had been searching for. The copse then mystically opened it, and the other three came inside. Amorleiel made short work of the first chest, throwing the lid open. Many pieces of gold sparkled inside, as well as an ancient tome and various other weapons and items. The items were split and the four returned to Marali.

Jedd went to the forge and bashed out the dents in his armor. As he did so, he contemplated about the torn page. He had heard tell of similar events happening elsewhere...as it were, his was the fourth known torn page. He wasn't sure what else to do, except to wait for the one with The Book. So, Jedd walked back to the bank and sat down. He pulled out a piece of charcoal from his pack and scribbled a short note to post on the walls, beneath other related reports. It read as follows:

The fourth page has been found and is in my posession. I shall be waiting, and watching, for the one with The Book.

Jedd sat back down with his back to a pillar. Waiting.[/i]

Dracilus in Mirith, Suscame in Mirith, Sher in Lerilin and Jedd in Marali all that is left is Andris. All we have to do is wait for time to tell.

I too have been chosen and a more detailed report will follow. I just want to keep everyone updated as the events unfold! I was sitting with Dharma this very morning at the bank when we started to experience visions. At first we were scared, but then we realized that the visions were not sent to harm us. Dharma had to leave to visit her brother Bronte so she could not continue on with the quest I had before me. Who am I but a simple cleric to be chosen for this task. The vision directed me to go to Andris and gather a party in order to obtain the book. Our party was strong indeed, and many. So many that I cannot think of all their names now. Then I was instructed by a vision to head to Duldrus with the party and aid the Mercenaries in their fight against the creatures around Duldrus. On our way to Duldrus we discovered footprints which guided us to their fort. At the fort we met Ash Hauksen the mercenary leader who agreed to help us on our quest for the book if we aided him. Our mighty party defeated the creatures, but there was a minor altercation between us and the mercenaries. Apparently one of our black bears attacked a mercenary shelter, however we quickly worked this out with Ash Hauksen. We began to make arrangements with Ash Hauksen for the book. Many did not want to cooperate with Ash Hauksen because they did not feel he could be trusted, however I did not see any indication of duplicity. We arrived at an arrangement to take the book and the five missing pages to the Priests at Brigaen. This meeting has not occurred however Ash Hauksen said there would be severe penalties if we broke our word.

(The book will be taken to Brigobaen around 3:00-4:00 PM EST)

Day 69 of the FIghting Moon, Year of the Goddess 437

I woke up with a feeling that something was amiss, so got ready as fast as I could, determined to scout the land. I did not have to go that far - as I prepared to leave the relative safety of the city walls, I met Wong and, upon communicating my fears, he begged me to follow him out of the east gate (the ill fated east gate... I shall never forget the black day when we issued forth from it to negotiate the release of Senator Fieltler, and miserably failed!). On the beach, in the area where Brackens and snakes thrive, there was a deserted copse - I could just perceive a couple of objects in between the dead tree trunks. This brought immediately to my mind some recent reports. I turned to Wong and said "my friend, I need to travel to Mirith and communicate with Dracilus - he has had such an experience already and may throw some light on the business!"

Wong offered to accompany me but, as it always happens when you are in a hurry, Rodolpho was not willing to oblige - he had once again hidden the box containing the green crystals, and neither begging nor threatening would induce him to produce the much coveted gemsI Then I suddenly recollected that Rosina was still in Mirith so decided to send a winged messenger to her, begging her to find Dracilus, enquire about the copse he had found and immediately report back to me. Thankfully the girl was not in one of her rebellious moods and, after a reasonable lapse of time, I received her brief report. I quickly read it then selected a fresh messenger to ask her to gather a force and converge to Andris.

I was devoured with anxiety when finally Rosina made an appearance - she had brought her husband and Ogma along, and informed me more friends were waiting at the bank. She then went to the inn to get some well deserved rest - I hear she had fought hordes of Mercenaries and Hill Giants with Crom and a few companions and had gone without sleep for a whole night (she was still fuming when she later told me one of the Mercenaries had shouted "Kill the cleric!").

I welcomed the assembled friends then we marched out, in readiness for battle. Brigands and Mercenaries were fouling the woods outside town but were systematically brought down, one by one. I thank the Goddess my death was the only one - it was too late when I spotted two Mercenaries attacking me, out of our wonderful clerics' sight - somehow my heal potions seemed to have no effect and I could not regain mana fast enough to counterattack... but I was soon back up on my feet and ready to strike again! To my immense surprise and delight, the legendary Rebel druid Pinoma was amongst our numbers, but regrettably there was no time for proper civilities. When we were satisfied that we had cleared the woods of the vermin, we approached the copse of dead trees on the beach, but there was no way in. I called out "anybody there?" a few times but there was no response, except that, moments later, I found myself alone within this strange thicket. Two chests were there, nobody to guard them. Hesitantly, I stepped towards one of them and opened it... the torn page of a book was at the bottom of it, so I picked it up and carefully stored it in my satchel. As if by magic, some of the dead trees withdrew and allowed access to the inner circle. I begged Suscane to come in and disarm the second chest in case of traps - this was full of treasures and, with the help of my companions, we brought them back to town and divided them amongst us.

As I was watching with pleasure the assembled company at the bank (and Sucane's delight at becoming the owner of a powerful dagger), something happened to my mind. Somehow I knew that now all the torn pages had been found, and it was time to look for the book they belonged to. Two of the torn page keepers were together in Andris, a third could be reached by Suscane, but two were missing - Sher and Jedd. I gave my page to Suscane, begging him to pass it on in case I could not be present to the mission to come, then a vision of Duldrus flashed in my mind, and I told my companions I felt this was the place where to seek the book, once we had contacted the missing holders and obtained all the torn pages.

My mind becomes blurred now, I am tired after the long journey to Duldrus and more battles - the story that follows mine is for somebody else to narrate.

Later on today I journeyed to Brigobaen with a large group of companions. On our way there we were attacked by a group of brigands. I am lucky I had a strong party for protection or I would have surely died. We went there to take the book and its pages to the Temple Priest. The Temple Priest was able to determine that the book is the Book of the Stars which was a book of healing used to try and bring back Willow Hauksen back from the dead after she was killed by Zara. In addition the Temple Priest told us that an amulet would be required to use the book, but that he did not know where the amulet of the stars was located. He told us to leave the book with him so that he could research and restore the book to its full condition.

I was sitting at the Mirith bank with Dharma, and Razan when the Temple Priest approached me. He said that he wanted to research some using Mirith's library. We went with him to the library and while we were there he told us that he had made a discovery. He wanted us to journey to Brigobaen in order to find out what progress he had made.

Our journey to Brigobaen was uneventful, however when we got there the Temple Priest revealed that he had restored the book. It speaks much of his skill in order to restore such an old ruined book. In addition there was some speculation that Ash Hauksen wants the book in order to revive Willow Hauksen from the dead. The exact purpose behind this desire is unknown. The Temple Priest also revealed that the book hints at the Amulet of the Stars being in the Marali Ranger GH in the middle of TM and that there might be a dragon guarding it. A hunt should be planned to MR to search for the Amulet. Also, the Book of the Stars is in my keeping. We must keep Ash from getting the Amulet and the Book for he is not to be trusted.

On our way back to Mirith we were attacked by several Brigands and destroyed a shelter. We also ran into Kip who was interested in seeing the book and buying some ferrite. Razan sold him some ferrite, but I did not show him the book.

(I am planning on trying to get a group together tomorrow night Eastern time. Sometime between 7-9 pm hopefully.)

Hauksen.
The sound not heard for a long time.
It reminded me the time to explore all over the world with Asliendor.

Hakusen family had been living as a mercenary.
Furin hauksen is patriarch.
Toli hauksen is the eldest daughter.
Sonja hauksen is the second daughter.
Willow hauksen is the youngest daughter.
Their tragedy was caused by the intrusion into the basement of Marali.
Their invasion failed.
Willow hauksen was injured in body and soul, died in the wilderness of Marali.
Wounded her spirit was not allowed to rest.
Willow haunts a girl named Anon. Anon repeats the behavior of Willow, was wounded the same.
Altaira Mei, Marali healer has tried to heal her with the Book of Star, but it did not make it.
Anon died, and the Spirit of Willow was wandering again.
We recovered the bodies of Willow, she was able to finally go to sleep.

Now, Hauksen and Book appeared again.
I do not know Hauksen family had a son.
Is Ash Hauksen Furin's son?
Furin and Toli were missing.
I only can confirm Sonja was the survival.
But I do not know the whereabouts of her since she was taken to Marali from Brigobean.
And why the book was brought out of the city which stored in Marali.
Whom is Ash trying to cure?

Young warrior is calling me.
They ask accompany to tree maze.
I stopped thinking, started to get ready for trip.

These are scary times for a weak cleric as myself. I sat at the bank dreading the adventure ahead. If I did not have such good companions to reassure me I surely would have chickened out. We were preparing to go to the center of the Tree Maze to the ruined guild hall of the Marali Rangers in search of the Amulet of the Stars. Little did we know at the time what awaited. What evil lurked beneath such peaceful trees. As we approached the Tree Maze we heard a laugh like that of a demon from hell. What had started as a hunt for a Dragon had turned into a show down with an accursed Lich. We cleared out the Tree Maze with ease and began our descent into MR. What we found there shocked us, there were many Bone Mages in service to the Lich. We dispatched of the Black Bears, Bone Mages, Forest Dracos, and Giants to fight our way to the Lich. The Lich revealed himself to be Hilgar, a cleric who was consumed by darkness. The Lich put up a good fight and killed several of us. We were slowly beating the Lich back into oblivion, when a Forest Dragon came to his aid. The Forest Dragon killed me in one hit because I was foolish and did not have my protection spell on. The Dragon then went on to kill several others. However, the brave clerics persevered. I was brought back to life, but to be honest I much preferred the gray than the abomination we were fighting. The Dragon could not move very much thanks to powerful magic and soon fell to the blades of the mighty fighters. The Lich tasted nothingness soon after. On his corpse was found the Amulet of the Stars! We emerged victorious from the Tree Maze, and went back to Mirith to celebrate and divide the spoils. But we knew that we could not celebrate for too long because there are still missing books and amulets. In addition we would have to take the book and the amulet to the Temple Priest at Brigobaen to have their interactions together be examined.

While on a hunt with Larzz, and Bronte we were approached by the Temple Priest. He asked us if it was true that we had recovered the amulet. We informed him that it was indeed true, and he asked if we could take the book and the amulet to Brigobaen. We started our journey there and we were joined by Praegus, Rondino, and Laricen. The Priest experimented with the book and amulet however nothing happened. It was decided that he should keep the Amulet of the Stars and the Book of the Stars, and I would keep the Book of Sky. Hopefully one of us or an expert will figure something out. He informed us that he was not sure where the other two books are and the other three amulets. We still need amulet for the Book of Sky, and we do not have the Book of the Damned or the Book of the Moon. The Book of the Moon requires an amulet, however the Book of the Damned requires a special dagger. We were encouraged to explore the dark and dangerous places in these lands to search for the missing artifacts.

On our way back to Mirith we were attacked by several groups of Brigands. It is advised to travel with extreme caution. The Brigands will stop at nothing to get the book.
