The idea was Lou Bene's. Talking about a new expedition to the cave that no one has ever succeeded to cross, the elded wizard suggested and inventory to be made of the possible artefacts known to the Oberinites that could be of use to such an adventure.
"There are always those that we know of but are not in friendly hands", thought the youngest wizard, hoping that the inventory and the will to try any possible thing would not mean having to negotiate with foes such as Marthonis or Rem.
"I will start the list here", she said, grabbing a piece of parchment and a quill.
"There is, of course, the Curio"
The ornate staff, the token from the dragons, the blood dagger (gone for so long), the books (so many tomes lost in time), the dragonstone ring (wherever it was), the silver claws, the ruby, the diamond, an assortment of keys One by one, she added all the items she could remember and passed it to the other. Certainly they would be able to make an exhaustive list, given time. |

Having a look through the list, her eyes came across a name of item. She smiled nostalgically.
Yeah, yeah, I believe it was on a Blue Moon auction of year 428. Harmony made a successful bid for this. Rumour said she sometimes talked to this - 'Mirror, mirror on the wall, what in the name of wonder are you?'
I've heard another rumour, too. I don't know if it indicates the same thing as Harmony's. At least the auctioneer called this Gold Mirror, anyway.
Then she added a couple of words in the margin.
Gold Mirror, Location: Private Collection
She laid eyes on another item in the list, and winced in discomfort.
This is still fresh in our minds. This is indeed a cursed sword. Many people who got involved in this had unhappy experience I wonder if the Witch Doctor still possesses this.
Big Jacks Katana, Location: Unknown, in the possession of *left here blank*
Trails: Originally, it belonged to a privateer called Big Jack the R...
Oh, wait, she paused, I shouldnt be scribbling a lot of notes here.
She pulled out another piece of parchment, and wrote down what she knew about the sword.

Big Jacks Katana, Location: Unknown, Last Holder: Witch Doctor
Trails: Originally, this Katana belonged to a privateer called Big Jack the Red. A group of adventurers got the Katana as loot from Big Jack when they fought off him. The Katana was put up to auction and sold to a fighter. Then, Senator Fieltler of Andris was abducted by Privateers. They demanded the Katana for the return of the Senator. The negotiation of the transfer collapsed, and the Katana was put under the control of Andris. The Senator was rescued moons later, and the Katana was, at the same time, stolen by the Witch Doctor. |
Id really like to know the cause of his that much desire for the Katana. Putting down the quill, she looked at the list again, Your list re-realizes me of losing what state these artifacts are currently in. |
