I was showing young Rebel druid Adam that area of Andris where the Scarlet Spires guild hall still stands last night, when we were approached by a boy in the name of Kristof, who claimed to be the son of one of the Andris guards. He seemed overexcited and, due to my immense tiredness at the time (I had spent the whole day hunting), it took me a while to make sense of his rather disconnected sentences. I was finally able to establish he was mimicking grown ups and had taken his dad's black armour to play with. Unfortunately, he bumped into a group of brigands who had taken the armour away from him, and the boy was now eager to retrieve it before his dad could discover it was gone.

The boy asked for our assistance. I asked him to be given a moment to think, then I remembered some Rebel friends - Crom, Angelica and Hordah were hunting around Andris, so I quickly sent them a note begging them to join us.

Adam, realising he did not have enough power to cope with such a situation, sent word to Tyler, who speedily made his way to the spot where we were standing (in the meantime, Crom and Angelica had joined me but alas, Hordah had already retired for the night). We further questioned the boy Kristof about the number of brigands, and he seemed to think there were possibly more than 10. The small group of Rebels looked at each other, debating whether we should seek some more assistance, then the boy said he could be of some help himself, so without further ado we set off for Crescent Island.

Kristof pointed to a northerly direction, so we followed it only to find ourselves surrounded by brigands and beasts, then the Brigand Thug appeared. We fought valiantly but our numbers were small, and the enemy seemed to be endowed wih great power of speed.

I thought of taking some of the brigands away to allow Crom and Kristof to fight a few at a time but alas, I was soon surrounded - my charm of swiftness seemed to have lost its power! To my dismay, just before dying myself, I saw the ghosts of Tyler and Angelica, and shouted to them as I run to go to the old Scarlet Spires Hall. This is what I did myself as soon as I could, then returned swiftly to the island to try and recover my body and take up the fight once again. The boy Kristof seemed to be waiting for me, pointing out where my body was.

I quickly picked up my robes and reagents and rejoined the battle, then we beat retreat and rushed to the water to try and collect our thoughts. The boy Kristof followed us. Mist fell in front of my eyes as I saw the Brigand Thug challenging us from the shore and, in a daze of tiredness and anger, I threw a fireball at him, and he quickly retreated out of sight. Little did I know he had gone to get some of his cronies to chase me on the water and, much to my horror, they caught up with me fast, surrounded me and killed me once more!

Well, I went to the Scarlet Spires Hall once again, and here I met the ghost of Tyler. As I escorted him back to recover his body, we bumped into the ghost of Crom - I tried to follow him but he seemed to disappear from sight. Tyler and I got back to the island and he managed to recover his belongings, after which we went in search of our companions. It was at this moment in time that we saw people crossing the waters and, by the time we got back to the spot were the brigands had been camping, a crowd stood there and soon disappeared. I vaguely recall the boy Kristof looking for me and thanking me for my help, then only Tyler and I were left on the island, with our thoughts and our considerations on the events.

It is only now that I have had a chance to rest and recover somewhat, that I have realised we did not even manage to take a peep at the shelters and their contents.

Would somebody who took part in the rescue (was unsure who this was summoned by but I now know Crom alerted Sagan) enlighten us as to the contents of the shelters and how the loot was distributed?

There was nothing in the shelters but food that I know of, and the loot in the chest was the GM Plate and GM Robe that belonged to Kristof's Dad - it was given back to him. I am unaware what happened to the brigand heads, but Kristof gave everyone a Red Rose and some experience points at the end.
