One world, one night. Four cities, three Vanguardians and not enough time. Every detail had been hashed and rehashed. The mission was impossible - yet impossible wouldn't stop them. The persistence of the last Vanguardians was engraved in their traits.
"All right, once again," said the older ranger. The young woman sighed. She seemed eager to get things done. The sooner the better. He glanced at her apologetically, almost in a fatherly way.
"Chill, Claire. We'll make it," the man behind her said and, put a hand on her shoulder to reassure her. "I know, I know," she gasped for breath.
"Sooo, I take Marali and Andris, Fang takes Lerilin and you take Mirith. We have four hours, not more I guess. At the break of dawn I want to see everybody back here, okay?" said Captain Boric. Both Fang and Claire nodded and grinned. It could begin Ö and end as quickly as it had started.
The following day, you would perhaps walk by a bank. You would look around and discover them. Probably, you would stare at them with a surprised look on your face as you would see Marali's sigil on them. Children would run past you and laugh at your funny expression. You wouldn't take notice of the laughters and start reading the placard next to you.

I would like to inform everyone that since, there has been new management of the Marali Vanguard, and other circumstances... we have a new Guild forum. http://maralivanguard.11.forumer.com/index.php
We of course are still looking for new members, with the guidelines being something like this...
- The minimum level of an applicant should be at least eight as Marali is a harsh environment, and if you are defending Marali, shouldn't you be able to defend yourself as well?
- Resistance to Magic of Four or better for fighters, rangers, and rogues, while six or better for clerics, druids, and wizards is recommended because of the numerous Bracken, Bone Mages, and Gaper around Marali.
- While this is Vanguard, we do not expect you to be in character at ALL times, at the very least we would favor you be in character during meetings, and at events (RTQ's)
- Also, Only one character is required, the other can stay in the current guild you are in if you wish.

Trust you are well.
My niece reports that, under the Red Moon of the Year 436, young Octar fought and killed on his own a draco and a tusker, north west of the Marali Vanguard Hall. Four Rebels were witnesses to the event.
Rosie swears upon MY life (the impudent girl!!!) that she did not heal the young fighter and just confined herself to restock him with potions after the fight.

Day 143 of the Red Moon year 436,
To Captain Fang and Advisor Estess Vorund,
Today I ran into Aborek unarmed and unarmoured, and - at Armsman Nimuialwing's request - to Aborek once again and back through the more dangerous area of the surrounding forest. I am pleased to say that I emerged alive if not unscathed. I am also very grateful to the references provided by the very distinguished former Vanguardians in Lady Fuoco's letter.
I therefore formally submit my application to join the Marali Vanguard. I hope I have proved myself thus far to your satisfaction. Of course I shall carry out any further tasks you deem necessary, but I believe I am ready to join the ranks.

Captain Fang,
I bring good news. The young ranger Keane, brother of Mistress Karlanski Koth, has expressed his desire to join the vanguard! I can vouch that he is a good and noble soul. Whether he yet has sufficient strength and knowledge will of course need to be tested.
I bring futher good news - I have had delivered another eight cases of Andris Champagne! Don't tell Nial...
