Welcome to Oberin!
Oberin is an online fantasy role-playing game and virtual community, available exclusively for Macintosh. Oberin takes place in a persistent, ever evolving world -- your character may come and go, but the world continuously runs.
While there are many separate quests that can be completed in Oberin, there is no ultimate goal when playing. The journey is the reward. It's an online fantasy world where the fun comes from interacting with other real players. You can join a group of fellow players to hunt for dragons, spend a quiet day fishing, meet a friend at the pub for a game of chess, or spend some time refining your chosen skills.

| News: Oberin plague cleansed |

After a whole night of dancing and chanting a single strange word, the clerics of Brigobaen managed to find a way to cleanse Oberin from the powerful plague that struck it. Men and women have been dispatched all around the lands to cast a purifying spell on all the infected.
Note that the clerics were ordered to cleanse every single infected of the curse, despite the anticipated strong protestations of some of the "newly created" ladies.

physical appearance of the infected.
The means of spreading of the plague are currently unknown, and
it seems too late to quarantine the infected. Brigobaen gathered its
best clerics to try and find a cure, to no avail so far.
**UPDATE** A note was found on the steps of Brigobaen's library
a few hours ago. Here is what it reads:
